In the spring of my senior year at Boston University, I set off to make a documentary deeply inspired by my home state, Maine. Growing up on the coast of Maine has led to my profound appreciation of the ocean and the people who spend their lives working on it. As the water in the Gulf of Maine continues to warm, I wanted to step into the lives of a lobsterman, oyster farmer, and kelp farmer and shed light on the strength and resilience of the individuals in these fields.
